Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Pockeo collects, why, and how it's protected. Pockeo is published by M.K, an individual / independent developer (see Legal Notice).

1. Data collected

To function, Pockeo collects and stores:

• Your email address and name (user account);
• Financial data you enter yourself: salary, fixed charges, expenses, categories, savings projects;
• Screenshots you choose to import are processed only on your device (local text recognition) — they're never sent to or stored on our servers;
• Technical information related to your subscription (via RevenueCat), never with access to your banking or card details.

2. How your data is used

Your data is used exclusively to make Pockeo work: calculating your budget, displaying your statistics, managing your savings projects. It's never sold or shared for advertising purposes.

3. Hosting and security

Your data is hosted via Supabase, in the Europe (Paris) region, with encryption and strict access rules ensuring only you can view your own data. The app also offers biometric lock (Face ID/Touch ID) and a privacy mode to hide amounts on screen.

Some of your data (account information, subscription status) is also processed by RevenueCat and Apple, two US-based companies. These transfers outside the European Union are covered by appropriate safeguards recognized under GDPR (European Commission standard contractual clauses).

4. Sharing with third parties

Pockeo uses the following third-party services, strictly necessary for the app to function:

• Supabase — database hosting and authentication;
• RevenueCat — Premium subscription management;
• Apple (App Store) — subscription payment processing.

No data is shared with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, and port your data. You can exercise these rights, or request account deletion, at any time by contacting us at pockeo@proton.me.

6. Data retention

Your data is kept as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently erased from our servers, subject to technical backup deletion delays.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy may evolve. Any substantial change will be communicated via the app or by email.
